At La Roche we believe that serving those in need is an integral part of our mission. For this reason we offer a variety of volunteer activities to both broaden the scope of your educational opportunities and involve you in serving the needs of the local and greater Pittsburgh community, as well as the Global community. La Roche College encourages all students and staff to be involved in some Community Service. There are a variety of Community Service opportunities to choose from:

• Scheduled Community Service Activities - Regularly scheduled one-time activities or special events.
• Semester of Community Service - Programs that require a semester-long commitment of 12+ hours.
• Creating your own Community Service - You may be involved in a volunteer service for which you wish to receive La Roche Community Service hours, or in which you would like others to join you. Perhaps you have an idea for a Community Service not currently offered at La Roche. If so, contact the Community Service Office, SC 109 or call Sister Marilyn Bergt at 412-536-1053
